Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

November 3, 2010

I finally broke down and did it. That’s right. Last night I got the winter coats out! Last spring I had the foresight to have them all cleaned, so they’ve hung, waiting in the coat closet, wrapped in protective plastic all summer long.

It’s always a sad, sad day when I have to break out the coats. It means there’s no doubt that summer is over and even I need to pack away the lightweight clothes!

This year, I’m a markedly less blue because I have a stylish new scarf to wear with my coat, which takes a little of the sting out! It’s a Cashmink® scarf by Fraasand it is absolutely the softest scarf I’ve ever owned!

Cashmink is actually a special acrylic exclusive to the Fraas company. Durable and so fine that it does not pill, Cashmink is 20% finer than cashmere. And, it’s so luxe that it’s actually often mistaken for cashmere!

The scarves are available in a wonderful selection of vibrant colors and beautiful styles – from uber-modern color block, to trendy animal prints, to elegant jacquard. One of my favorites is the Burberry-inspired plaid in traditional earth tones pictured – this would look stunning with my red coat!

The entire line of Cashmink is available for only $30 – $40 at fine department stores like Bon-Ton, Boscov’s and more. In addition to the line, Fraas also offers a wide variety of other outerwear like wraps squares, capes gloves, caps, hats and even bags in CottonCashmereLinenModalSilk, and Viscose.
