Fall is just around the corner and that means a return to luxurious fabrics like tweeds, leathers and velvets in luscious fall tones. And, with richer and more subdued fall hues, yellow gold makes a strong statement and a welcome change.

Out of favor for several seasons, warm gold tones have been heating up some of my favorite ready-to-wear runway shows this year — from YSL (belt buckles, chains and trim) to Michael Kors (heels and bags) to Lanvin (truly massive, show stopping yellow gold accents).

Although I love the warmth of real yellow gold paired with new russet, sage and chocolate fall ensembles, pricing has gotten a bit out of hand. So, for those of us trying to stretch our budgets, I’ve found some amazing on-trend solutions – and each is under $50!

While you’re here, please make sure to enter our most recent giveaway – over $100 in stunning Magnabilities interchangeable jewelry. Contest ends 8-24.
